Do Aurena and Enterprise Explorer (on IFS10) actually use the same underlying database table structure, or does Aurena store data differently, and can data be migrated using templates originally built against IEE's structure?

Answer

They're exactly the same — Aurena is purely a different user-interface layer on top of the identical underlying database as Enterprise Explorer; the same views/tables back both clients identically, with the same columns and data types. There may be a small number of additional tables used only to support Aurena-specific UI features, but these don't affect standard business-data migration efforts — migration templates and techniques built against IEE's table/view structure apply equally to data that will be viewed through Aurena, since it's the same data either way.
