Before using a real service
Section titled “Before using a real service”- Confirm property names and types in the contract.
- Use the service’s documented authentication and permissions.
- Follow continuation links when the response is paginated.
- Do not assume that a filter grants access or that the first page is complete.
- Avoid constructing queries by concatenating untrusted input.
Try the query lab or read the OData tutorial.
