The Source Column field in Source Mapping accepts SQL expressions directly, not just a plain column name — so you can wrap the source column in UPPER(), e.g. UPPER(CF$_YOURSOURCECOLUMN), directly in the Source Column field, and the import applies that uppercase conversion as part of reading the source value, with no separate transformation step needed.
