A manually joined High Availability cluster node behaves unexpectedly, or nodes crash during setup.

Answer

If you used an automatic node-joining method, try the manual joining approach instead — automatic joining has been a source of underlying cluster-layer instability in some environments, and manual joining gives you a chance to verify each node's state as it's added rather than diagnosing a multi-node failure after the fact.
