Add a properly formatted comment to the view itself, in the LU=...^PROMPT=...^MODULE=...^ pattern (for example, LU=YourLogicalUnit^PROMPT=Your View Description^MODULE=YOURMODULE^), then refresh the Dictionary Cache — this registers the view against the dictionary metadata IFS uses to know which views are available for a given Logical Unit, and it becomes selectable once the cache picks up the newly commented view.
