Building out Text Translations (for example, English-to-German entries) in one environment — is there a way to back them up and move them to another environment, or does every translation entry have to be manually retyped in the destination?

Answer

Use the Export Translation Files window to export your translations from the source environment, then use the Import Language Files window in the destination environment to bring them in — running the import as a Background Job is recommended, especially for a larger set of translations. This avoids having to manually retype every translation entry when moving a completed translation set between environments.
