Can IAL (IFS Application Language) files be version-controlled so they're automatically picked up by deployment automation, rather than manually deployed to each environment?

They can be added to the relevant database component folder so they're picked up during installation like other component files — but treat this as a transitional detail rather than a long-term investment, since IAL functionality itself has been flagged for future deprecation and removal.
