Clicking an IFS URL link embedded in an email always opens a brand-new session, prompting the user to log in again, even if they're already logged into IFS with an existing session open. Is there a way to make it reuse the existing session instead?

In the EE client, this behavior is configurable: press Alt to reveal the menu, go to Tools > Options, and choose the preferred way URL links should be handled/opened there. Save the change, either via a clean exit or Tools > Options > User Profile > Save Profile, and restart the application for the new setting to take effect.
