If we install a release at a specific Service Update (SU) level, does it include the fixes from all the SUs before it, or could an intermediate one be skipped?

Answer

A given SU level is cumulative — installing it includes the fixes from every prior SU released for that same version, not just its own delta, so moving from one SU level directly to a later one doesn't skip or lose fixes from the ones in between.
