On Windows 10 running IFS Applications 9, dialog boxes sometimes get stuck behind the main application window, effectively locking the entire computer with no way to reach the task manager or any other application short of a hard power-off.

Answer

Check the 'Borderless Window' checkbox under Tools > Options > Advanced tab — it's checked by default. Uncheck it and restart the application; this resolves the dialog-stuck-behind-window symptom for most users experiencing it.
