Once an initial uplift build home has been created at a specific version, can we later recreate it to jump straight to a newer version and skip the intervening steps?

Answer

Don't assume you can move the starting point of an already-established uplift forward — once that initial uplift version is set, it generally becomes the fixed starting point you have to work from, and skipping ahead to a later version usually means starting the whole uplift process over rather than recreating the build home at a higher version.
