Setting up a local Docker-based development server in Developer Studio for IFS Cloud produces various container errors on startup — 'cat: can't open /etc/podinfo/labels', failed Kubernetes-service-account lookups, an UnknownHostException for ifs-virus-scanner, and other similar noise. Which of these actually matter?

Answer

First, make sure you're logging in as a genuine end-user account, not IFSSYS — IFSSYS isn't an end-user account and won't work correctly for this kind of local-server testing. Separately, the ifs-virus-scanner UnknownHostException can generally be ignored — it only matters if you're specifically developing or testing File Storage functionality that depends on virus scanning, in which case there is a workaround available; for general integration development work, that particular error is just noise from a service the local Docker setup doesn't actually need running.
