Nothing carries over automatically — permissions, personal profile settings, saved searches, navigator arrangement, and shortcuts all have to be recreated from a bare starting point in the web client; no migration path or upgrade consideration exists for bringing these personal settings across from the older client, so plan user-transition work (and expectations) around a genuine fresh start for this category of personalization rather than an automatic carry-over.
