This depends on which mechanism is actually backing the shared repository. If it's set up as a plain Oracle DIRECTORY object, update that directory's path definition directly in the database (visible via the DBA_DIRECTORIES view) to reflect the new server address. If it's set up through IFS Connect's own file-transport configuration instead, update the IP address directly in the Setup IFS Connect window within the application. Check which of the two mechanisms is actually in use for your repository before assuming it needs a full delete-and-reenter of the path.
