Check the digit-grouping/numbering-system setting for that company/locale — a numbering system set to the Indian convention (grouping in lakhs/crores) rather than the international convention (grouping in thousands/millions) has been found to cause the system to calculate and display amounts incorrectly in at least one confirmed case; switching that setting to the International Numbering System resolved the incorrect calculations without needing any other configuration change.
