A DESADV (despatch advice) XML export for a Shipment is missing the HANDLING_UNITS package-unit tags that appear when the same data is pulled through IFS Interface Browser — is there a setting that controls whether this tag gets included when exporting from the Shipment screen?

There's no separate on/off setting for this — the HANDLING_UNITS tag is generated whenever the shipment actually has a Handling Unit structure created and connected to it. If the tag is missing from an export, check whether that specific shipment genuinely has a Handling Unit Structure set up (visible as its own tab on the Shipment record) — if it doesn't, there's nothing for the XML generation to include, regardless of export method.
