Is it possible to keep a backup copy of the files a File Reader (IFS Connect) has already picked up and processed from its 'IN' folder, in case they're needed again later?

Answer

Yes — configure the File Reader's Archive Directory setting. Once set, the File Reader automatically retains a copy of every file it processes in that separate archive location, rather than the file simply being consumed/removed from the IN folder with nothing kept afterward — this is the built-in mechanism for keeping a backup of processed input files without needing any custom scripting.
