Setting up a secure (SSL/TLS) connection from IFS Connect to an external server via a Routing Address fails with an SSL socket-factory exception, even after adding the relevant certificates through IFS Connect's Keystore window — what's the Keystore window actually for?

Answer

The Keystore window in IFS Connect is specifically for certificates used in document signing — it isn't the mechanism for securing outbound integration connections like a Routing Address talking to an external server. If you've added certificates there trying to fix an SSL/TLS connection issue on a Routing Address, remove that keystore-related configuration from the Routing Address; a working connection depends instead on the target server being properly resolvable (correct DNS entry) and reachable, not on anything registered through the Keystore window.
