Clicking a friendly display value (like a customer name) in a Lobby element doesn't navigate correctly to the target screen, because Lobby navigation needs the actual key value (like a customer ID) rather than the display text shown to the user — is there a way to navigate using the display value directly?

Answer

There's no direct way to navigate using a display/friendly value instead of the actual key column — Lobby element navigation is built around passing the real key value (like an ID) through to the target screen's filter, not a resolved display value. A workaround that's been used for this is routing through an intermediary Quick Report: the Lobby element passes the display value to a Quick Report, which internally resolves it back to the actual key value(s) needed and drives the navigation from there, rather than trying to get the Lobby element itself to navigate directly using a non-key display value.
