Clicking a Lobby Counter element opens the correct linked Quick Report, but the report just waits for the user to manually type in a parameter instead of having the Lobby's own parameter value (like MARKET_CODE) passed through automatically — Counter elements don't have the 'Target Column' option List elements use for this, and manually editing the URL address (using `&`) to add the parameter stops the report from opening at all. How is this actually done?

Answer

Use ? instead of & before the first parameter in the Quick Report URL address: ifsrep:qr.<report_id>?MARKET_CODE=$MARKET_CODE$ (using $...$ to substitute the Lobby's own parameter value) — using & for the very first parameter in that URL breaks the address parsing entirely, which is why the report failed to open at all when that was tried; switching just that first separator to ? resolves it while keeping the same lobby-parameter substitution syntax.
