How do you reference the live value of an existing standard (non-custom) IFS field inside a Custom Event's PL/SQL action, when the field's containing form was populated via a prior search rather than being newly created?

In the New Custom Event window, check the specific fields you want available under the 'select attributes available when creating event actions' section. Once checked there, those fields appear as drag-and-drop 'available substitution fields' in the corresponding Event Action window — simply drag the field you need into your PL/SQL wherever its current value should be substituted in, without needing to create a custom field just to read an existing standard field's value.
