Answer
Configuration changes aren't always logged the same way business data changes are — confirm whether your release exposes a configuration-change history for the specific designer you're using before assuming one exists. See plan a configuration package for how to at least track *what* moved between environments.
Work through these checks
- Record the page, configuration context, environment, release, and change requirement before editing.
- Compare the current configuration with the last approved package or saved baseline. Record exactly which attributes and page elements changed.
- Include related entity and page configuration in the delivery package, then inspect dependencies and the preview before export.
- Import into the target nonproduction environment and repeat the same normal-user checks. Keep the package revision and actual results as the change record.
