Custom fields on a standard entity are exposed through that entity's dedicated custom-field view, named with a _CFV suffix — for example CUSTOMER_ORDER_CFV for Customer Order. Query that _CFV view (joined to the base entity as needed) in your Quick Report's SQL rather than expecting the custom field to appear directly on the entity's normal base view.
