Is it possible to replace a standard IFS operational report with a custom Crystal Report, and if so, what's actually involved?

Answer

Yes, this is possible on environments licensed for the Crystal Reports component — you'll need to develop the Crystal layout itself and install the Crystal Reports Web Service, which is what enables IEE to preview and print Crystal-based reports as a replacement for the standard operational report output. This is specifically an IEE/on-premise-era capability tied to the Crystal Reports component; it isn't part of IFS Cloud's web-based reporting architecture the same way.

Documentation-based answer. Confirm the product and release before applying it. This answer has not been verified in an IFS environment.
