Answer
Rather than removing or patching around the print-dialog functionality itself (which was added deliberately and isn't recommended to roll back), build a Custom Menu with Action Type 'PL/SQL Block' that generates and silently handles the report directly: call Archive_API.New_Client_Report to generate the archived report instance, then create and run a Print Job via Print_Job_API.New / Print_Job_Contents_API.New_Instance / Print_Job_API.Print, passing a 'No Printout' printer setting if the goal is just archiving without a physical print. Wiring this custom menu item to the relevant order number gives a one-click 'silent' print/archive path for exactly the credit-blocked-order scenario where the normal automated Order Type flow can't kick in on its own — the same pattern can be reused for other reports by adjusting the report ID and layout name.
