The Oracle JDK bundled inside IFS Middleware Server is licensed only for running IFS Middleware Server itself — it isn't licensed for other IFS-related Java tooling that runs outside of Middleware Server, such as Print Agent or Report Designer. For those separate tools, use OpenJDK instead of copying/reusing the Oracle JDK that ships with Middleware Server, matching its version to the JDK version Middleware Server itself uses to avoid compatibility issues (checkable by running java -version from Middleware Server's own mw_home\java folder). Middleware Server's own bundled JDK should never be updated manually — any updates to it are delivered by IFS as part of a release, not applied independently.
