How do you reopen an Oracle database user account that's shown as EXPIRED (as distinct from a locked account) in IFS10?

Answer

Right-click the account's row and select 'Change Password' — setting a new password immediately reactivates an expired account. This is a different situation (and a different fix) from a locked account: 'expired' specifically means the account's password has aged past the Oracle Profile's configured password-lifetime setting, which is resolved by simply setting a fresh password rather than any unlock action.
