Is there a way to find exactly which Permission Set has a specific projection/entity/action combination granted, when going through the Permission Set screens one by one hasn't turned up the source?

A quick report (or ad-hoc query) against the permission-set entity-action grants table, filtered to the specific projection, entity, and action you're chasing and joined against the grant-status API function, will directly surface every permission set with that exact combination granted — this is far more reliable than manually clicking through each permission set's grants looking for it.
