Is there any risk to changing the passwords on IFS's built-in IFSCONNECT and IFSINFO system accounts, or disabling them entirely?

Answer

Changing their passwords is fine, but don't disable either account — both need to remain active at all times, since IFSINFO is used by the Information Access Layer (IAL) and IFSCONNECT is used for IFS Connect functionality; disabling either can cause real functional problems in those areas.
