Logging into Aurena produces an error for users on most permission sets, but users granted an app-owner-level permission set can log in without issue — what's the underlying difference causing this?

Answer

Check whether the affected, more restricted permission sets have been granted the FND_WEBENDUSER_MAIN permission set — this grants the baseline privileges needed for ordinary end users to use core Aurena functionality at all. An app-owner-level permission set effectively already has this baseline access bundled in via its much broader overall grants, which is why it doesn't show the same login error, while a more narrowly scoped permission set that's missing this specific baseline grant will fail to log in correctly.
