The debug console / log window shows database trace information when logged in as an admin, but it's suppressed when reproducing an issue as a specific end user. How do I let that user see it too?

Answer

Grant the user the DEBUGGER database system privilege — in the relevant permission set, add it under the System Privileges tab. Without that privilege, trace/debug database information is suppressed for the user even if they otherwise have access to the debug tooling.
