Trying to access the IFS Middleware Server Admin Console (needed to configure REST-service authentication) fails with 'User Not Allowed' for every account tried, including IFSAPP and other full-admin application accounts — even though those same accounts work fine in both Enterprise Explorer and Aurena. What account should be used instead?

The Middleware Server Admin Console (a WebLogic-based console, separate from IFS application-level accounts) is accessed using the dedicated 'ifs' administrative account and its own password — not IFSAPP or any other ordinary IFS application user account. IFSAPP and similar application accounts, regardless of how much access they have within the IFS application itself, simply aren't configured to authenticate against this separate middleware-level console.
