With two separate Base Profiles, is it possible to export ONLY a specific piece of configuration, like column order and layout for one particular form, from one profile and import just that piece into the other, rather than exporting/importing the entire profile wholesale?

There's no direct partial-export feature for a Base Profile, but the same result can be achieved indirectly: import the full source profile into a temporary/intermediate profile first, for example a specific user's own personal profile used purely as a scratch import target, then drill down within that imported profile to the specific screen/form whose layout you actually want to transfer, and use that form's own, or even a specific table/tab beneath it, 'Copy Values to Profile' RMB option to copy just that one screen's settings across into your real destination Base Profile. This achieves a selective, form-by-form transfer of configuration without carrying over the entire source profile's unrelated settings.
