Can a BPA User Task present a dropdown-style value selector (e.g. picking a Cancel Reason from a list of values like OrderCancelReason) for the user to choose from when responding to the task?

Answer

Only IFS Enumerations are supported as a dropdown/list option in User Task dialogs — a List of Values (LOV) source isn't supported there. If a genuine LOV-driven dropdown isn't achievable for your specific field, a plain text field showing just an informational label is the fallback, along with the default OK/Cancel buttons (or an OK-only configuration if Cancel isn't relevant).
