Can a workflow create a 3rd-level nested entity — for example a SalesCustomerAddressArray record nested inside a CustomerInfoAddress, which is itself nested inside CustomerInfoSet — the way it can create a 2nd-level nested entity directly?

Answer

No — 3rd-level (and deeper) nested entities aren't supported by the IFS Projection Call task in Workflows; only up to 2 levels of nesting work directly. From 23R2 onward, Entity Service APIs are the recommended alternative for this kind of deeply-nested create scenario that Workflow's own projection task can't reach.
