A custom event needs both the date AND time portion of a date/time attribute, but the time always comes through as 00:00:00 in the event's PL/SQL code, even though the Debug Console confirms the actual value being saved to the database includes a real time component like 11:30:00.

Answer

Check the declared data type for that specific column in the entity/event definition — if it's declared as plain DATE (which some IFS conventions treat as date-only for the framework's own attribute-parsing behavior), change its declared type to DATETIME instead, so the framework correctly parses and passes through both the date and time components to the event's code rather than truncating the value to midnight.
