Declare it as a function instead of an action in the projection model — action is meant for a PL/SQL procedure call (typically not expected to return a value the same way), while function is the correct declaration for something that returns a value, which changes how the framework handles the call and its (empty) request body. Switching the model declaration from action to function for a value-returning operation resolves this deserialization error.
