Debugging a screen tells you which Oracle view it uses, but is there a way to go the other direction — starting from a known view/structure (for example, one you've overridden with a _CFV/_CFT custom-field view) and finding every screen that references it?

Answer

Query SELECT PO_ID, SEC_OBJECT FROM pres_object_security WHERE pres_object_sec_sub_type_db = 3 — this returns the presentation objects (screens) and the underlying security/view objects they reference, giving you a reverse lookup from view to screen(s). Keep in mind this only captures views directly wired into IFS screens; it won't reveal staging views or underlying tables that aren't directly referenced by a screen but might still be relevant for BI or other custom development.
