How do you give a specific pod in an IFS Cloud K8s deployment more capacity to handle load — for example the OData pod under heavy usage?

Answer

The standard lever is scaling out via replica count, not increasing CPU/memory limits on a single pod instance — set the relevant pod's replicas value higher in ifscloud-values.yaml (for example under ifsappodata: replicas: 2) and redeploy. If what you actually need is more CPU/memory per pod instance rather than more instances handling load in parallel, that's a different (resource-limits) configuration than replica count, so be clear on which one your performance problem actually needs before changing either.
