Is it possible to add an extra column to one of the built-in IFS List-Of-Values (LOV) popups, such as the Supplier LOV used on the Purchase Order Supplier field?

Answer

Yes, via a custom field on the correct underlying Logical Unit: first identify the LOV's actual underlying view name by enabling the Debug Console and opening that specific LOV in the client, which reveals its real view name; then determine which Logical Unit that view actually belongs to, since it isn't always obvious, by querying the dictionary metadata view for that view name (SELECT * FROM dictionary_sys_view WHERE view_name = '<lov_view_name>'), which returns the owning Logical Unit. Once you have the correct LU, create a custom field on it: activate its ROWKEY, enable its 'LOV Detailed View' option, add your new reference field, and publish — the new custom field then becomes available to add under Approved Detail Views for that specific LOV.
