Answer
This comes from a mix-up in process-object levels — commonly a manually added End-to-End object, a Process nested inside another Process, or a Sub-process placed directly under the Main Process area instead of properly nested underneath its owning Process. Filter the Scope List down to Sub-process level and scroll through it looking for an entry whose indentation/nesting looks wrong relative to its neighbors — that's usually where the misplaced object is. Once found, move (or remove) that specific process object to its correct level in the hierarchy to resolve the 4+ levels error.
