Answer
Database Tasks only support calling PL/SQL procedures whose parameters are ALL declared as IN-mode — a method with any OUT or IN OUT parameters (commonly used for returning a generated identifier back to the caller) can't be used as a Database Task's target method at all, and this is a hard platform limitation rather than something with a workaround at the Database Task level. Check the specific method's signature for OUT/IN OUT parameters, often among the first couple of arguments, to confirm this is what's blocking it; if so, a Database Task genuinely can't call that method, and an alternate mechanism, like a Custom Event or a scheduled PL/SQL wrapper procedure with only IN parameters, is needed instead.
