The In-Memory Acceleration Package screen documentation says custom packages can be created, but there's no '+' (New) button visible on the screen in the Aurena client to actually create one. Is this a bug, or is client-based creation intentionally blocked?

This is intentional, not a bug — creating a custom In-Memory Acceleration Package isn't possible through the Aurena client UI at all, by design, for security reasons. Custom In-Memory Acceleration Packages have to be created through an .ins file (a customization-file-based definition) instead of interactively through the client.
