Can the Employee Selector panel on the 'My Time Registration' page in Aurena be hidden via Page Designer for customers who only ever use the default employee (so the selector is redundant clutter for their users)?

No — per IFS's own R&D, the Employee Selector panel is a mandatory, structural part of the Time Registration page (it's what the page uses to select which employee's time is being registered), and there's no supported way to hide or remove it without breaking employee-selection functionality on the page. This is a confirmed standard-design limitation, not a missing configuration option.
