Before suspecting a platform regression, verify the actual endpoint configured in the routing address is still valid and reachable — in at least one confirmed case, the underlying cause was simply an invalid endpoint URL in the routing address that had started returning a 404, unrelated to any release upgrade; the symptom looked like a new platform issue but was a configuration/environment problem on the receiving endpoint's side.
