A decimal value (like a check amount) exported through an External File Template in CSV format loses its trailing zero (showing 550.2 instead of 550.20), and there's no obvious formatting option for the exported field.

Answer

A CSV export carries raw, unformatted data by design, so the underlying numeric value's display formatting isn't something the CSV format itself can carry — instead, use the TO_CHAR function with an explicit number-format mask on the relevant field reference in the template's function argument (for example, a mask like 999999999999999.99) to force the two-decimal-place text representation you want, exporting it as a formatted text value rather than relying on the raw numeric column to carry the desired display format.
