Calling an external REST endpoint from PL/SQL works fine when the response comes back in the body, but the data we need this time is in a response header (like Location) instead.

Answer

The PL/SQL REST-sender API has an option to include response header information alongside the body when it invokes your callback — enable that option on the call, then read the header value from within your callback method rather than only handling the response body.
