When installing a Localization pack (e.g. for a specific country) that will be used on a Company, does it matter whether the Localization pack is installed before or after the Company is created?

Answer

Install the Localization pack first, then create the Company — not the other way around. Applying a Localization pack to an already-existing Company leaves the Localization Control Center tab greyed out/unusable on that Company, whereas creating the Company after the Localization pack is already installed activates that tab correctly from the start. This has been confirmed by IFS as the recommended order.
