Upgrading from IFS Apps9 to Apps10, with field technicians already using the IFS Time Tracker 9 iOS app against an Apps9 TAS (Touch Apps Server) — does the corresponding Time Tracker 10 app work against Apps10, and does the TAS itself need to be separately obtained again?

Answer

Yes — Time Tracker 10 (the iOS app built for Apps10) works correctly against an Apps10 environment. The TAS itself does need to be upgraded to the Apps10-compatible version, but on Apps10 this is delivered as a standard part of your regular IFS Delivery — it's included directly in your IFS Build Home rather than needing to be separately requested or sourced the way it may have been handled on Apps9. TAS's installation documentation has also been folded into the main Apps10 Technical Documentation rather than existing as a separate standalone guide.
