Configure the command/action as an External Program action type rather than whatever default browser-launch mechanism was being used, and set its Action Parameters to the microsoft-edge: URI prefix followed by the target URL — for example, microsoft-edge:http://www.example.com. Windows resolves that URI scheme by launching Edge directly with the given address, bypassing whatever mechanism was defaulting to Internet Explorer.
